Clan Events
In Ironwolf Clan we have a wide variety of Roleplay that members can find on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. The events shown below are what our clan relies on when not doing rank-up roleplay, which is also commonly hosted as a guild event. When not doing either of the previously mentioned gatherings, our clan relies on roleplay campaign events to further progress the official story of the clan, as well as roleplay that is found regularly at our headquarters in Gul'worgol.
Mak'rogahn
A clan favorite, this event honors the tradition of the Warsong Clan known as "Mak'rogahn." The clan gathers and forms a fighting pit in which feuds, disputes, and other issues are fought out in a traditional manner. The winner of the fight claims themselves the stronger willed and thus earns the respect of being right. (this is event is usually hosted weekly).
Tavern Night
Once a week on Mondays, the clan stays in or travels to another tavern outside of Gulwor'gol to partake in celebrating the victories of the previous week! Drinking grog, eating feasts, telling stories, and even drunken brawls are common on this night!
Wolf Marches
Though it is uncommon for a wolf march to be it's own event, nearly all events begin with a wolf march through zones like Orgrimmar, Silvermoon, or Dornogal, to build a sense of community and comradery!
Kosh'harg Festival
Our clan partakes in two annual Kosh'harg festivals. In the summer we attend one hosted by another group and in the autumn we host one of our own. This festival is an ancient tradition brought to life by the shamans of each clan. Many ceremonies, games, markets, and stories are shared at this several day long festival. Fighting is outlawed for this event.
Life-Mating Ceremonies
After various trials including an honored hunt, two orcs in the clan may be deemed worthy to become life-mated. They may choose from places such as the Throne of Elements or the Emerald Dream. (Take note there are specified rules regarding any level of romance RP noted in Codes of Conduct page).
Funerals
Our clan is known for hardcore roleplay in the sense that we put your characters through extreme difficulties. It is not uncommon for members to perish in a variety of ways (with player permission). Because of this, our clan has a burial ground that we have used for three generations (in characterly) where we send them off with a traditional orcish ceremony.
Championship Tournament
Once a month we host a PVP tournament where clan members fight in a stadium before the rest of the clan. The winner of the tournament goes home known as the new "Champion" of the clan. It is commonly accepted for players to place bets with the respected coin-master of said event.
Faction War Events
It isn't uncommon for our clan to find OOC friendship in Alliance guilds in which we can wage war upon ICly. RP-PVP battles that follow a storyline are common when cohesive efforts are made with communities of the opposite faction.
Call to Arms!
Every Tuesday we venture out into Azeroth in search of the largest fights we can handle on each particular night. These events are where some of our greatest achievements and memories stem from. Try to attend them! On Saturdays we train people to sharpen their PVP skills so they may contribute to our fights on a higher level!
